Customer Service
What is the jewelry made of? How is it made?
The jewelry is all hand formed from porcelain. Every piece goes though four kiln firings which add different glazes and iridescent finishes. Then every piece is hand edged in gold luster or white gold luster. It is a long process but I find it very exciting to open my kiln after every firing!
What is the cord made of? How long is the cord? Can you get it longer?
The cord is made of silk rattail. The closure on the back of the necklace is a spring ring. All of our cords are cut to 18 inches, but longer cords are available on request.
Is the jewelry heavy to wear?
NO. Porcelain is very light so even large pieces are comfortable to wear. People who find large earrings too heavy to wear will not have that problem with the porcelain.
Is the jewelry breakable?
Porcelain is similar in structure to glass. They're durable to wear, but can be chipped or broken if mishandled.
What kind of posts are used for the earrings?
Many people who are sensitive to costume jewelry are allergic to the nickel in the earring posts. I use only nickel free posts.
Can you get clip-on earrings?
Any set can be ordered as clip-on's.
Do you make broaches?
Every set has a broach pin at the back so it can be worn as a broach or attached to the cord and worn as a necklace. On the hinge of the pin when it is open, is a short wire. I place the necklace cord under that wire and close the pin, that way the pendant is locked on to the cord and does not flip over on you.
How much is shipping and handling? How do you ship the jewelry? Where do you ship?
Please see our shipping information page.
Can I return the jewelry?
I want my customers to be happy with their purchases. Since the pictures don't do the actual jewelry justice I'm positive you will be more than happy. But if not contact me and we will make arrangements to give you a full refund less shipping.
